When I walk my daughter to school, my youngest daughters enjoy picking up leaves on their walk to and from school. Since the cooler weather has finally hit, the leaves have started to change colour, and the wind has blown them onto the path, ready for my two little munchkins to pick up on their travels. Since their new infatuation with leaves, I came up with this Leafy Lion Paper Plate Craft and my three year old enjoyed using her collection of leaves to make her lion. I’m sure you will agree that her lion face is better than the one mummy did.
This is a great craft to do together as it combines some outdoor scavenger hunting and then quiet time inside to get crafting.
