Since my daughter started Prep, I have a stack of brown paper bags, ready for when she orders tuckshop. We have a reusable bag that is used each week for tuckshop, but because the preppies are a little young to go to the tuckshop by themselves, they get their’s delivered to their classroom. Their hot and cold food has to be separated into two bags, hence why I needed the brown bags.
I’ve always loved using brown paper bags to wrap and conceal presents. It’s a very cheap and effective type of gift wrapping.
Brown paper bags are also good to have on hand for crafting with little people. One bag can be cut into strips to create crowns that the kids can decorate. I’m going to show you how we decorated our crowns. I, of course, encouraged my younger two girls to find materials from the backyard to decorate theirs.
